skysolutionX is Australia's dedicated marketplace connecting licensed commercial flight-service operators with customers who need aerial work at a specific time and place. The platform matches demand and supply for agricultural and related aviation services, including the application of pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, nutrients and fertilisers by fixed-wing aircraft, helicopters and drones, as well as farm-area and terrain mapping.
Across Australia's states and territories, a large number of compliant, licensed operators already provide fixed-wing, helicopter and drone services for spraying, surveying and monitoring. Once an operator registers on skysolutionX, its service types and coverage areas are listed on the platform. Customers can also access each operator's website directly through the published link.
Customers who register and post a requirement receive targeted distribution: the platform pushes the request to operators active in the relevant region, so that demand and available capacity can be matched. The customer then contracts with and pays the operator direct.
What we do
- Check licences and insurance before an operator can take enquiries.
- Send each enquiry to the operators who cover that region.
- Show a guide range before anyone quotes.
- Keep the job record the grower can hand to an auditor.
What we don't do
- We don't fly. Licensed operators do.
- We don't handle chemical.
- We don't take the grower's money. The grower pays the operator direct.
- We don't sell aircraft.
Who actually flies it, and who you contract with.
You contract with the operator, not with us. Each operator holds their own CASA operator certificate with their aircraft listed on it by make and model, their own remote pilot licence with the class rating, and the chemical licences your state requires. We hold the evidence and check it before they can take enquiries in your region. They quote you, they fly it, and you pay them direct.
Aerial work is booked in a short window, and the operators who can do it are spread thin across a big country. A grower should not have to ring around to find out who is licensed, who has the right aircraft and who can get there this week. An operator should not have to drive two hours to quote a block that was never going to suit them.
